AEM Launches Ad Blitz to Push Tax Reform Across Finish Line

The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) on Wednesday launched a new advertising blitz to urge Congress to pass comprehensive tax reform before the end of the year.
The advertisement will target members of Congress and their staff as well as the Trump administration for the duration of the tax reform effort this year.

“The men and women of the equipment manufacturing industry are counting on Congress to get tax reform across the finish line this year,” said AEM Vice President Kip Eideberg. “That is why we are launching this ad: to let our elected leaders know how important tax reform is to creating good-paying manufacturing jobs, and tilting the competitive balance back in favor of manufacturers in the United States.”

The tax reform ad is a continuation of the “Behind Every Product” campaign launched by AEM earlier this year.
AEM outlined its priorities for tax reform in a report released earlier this year.
AEM is the North American-based international trade group representing more than 950 companies and more than 200 product lines in the agriculture, construction, forestry, mining and utility sectors worldwide.
