DCE530B20V MAX* CORDLESS HEAT GUN

The DCE530P1 20V MAX* cordless heat gun can take you places your corded heat gun can’t. The cordless heat gun’s compact design allows for use in tight spaces and diverse applications. The specialty lock on and off feature allows for hands-free operation as needed. The nozzle is the standard size of traditional heat guns, allowing attachments from corded units and other brands to fit with ease. This cordless heat gun includes a flat nozzle and hook nozzle attachment. Battery and charger sold separately.

The heat gun is lightweight, which makes it easy to use it for an extended amount of time without fatigue. It is also compact to fit into tight spaces.

With two heat settings, it has a wide range of applications.

On low, it reaches 550 degrees F (288 degrees C) making it ideal for applications like:

Drying paint and varnish

Removing stickers

Waxing and de-waxing

Drying wet timber

Shrinking PVC wrapping and insulation tubes

Thawing frozen pipes

On high the DCE530 reaches a blistering 990 degrees F (532 degrees C) and is good for:

Bending plastic pipes and sheets

Loosening rusted or tightly fastened nuts and bolts

Removing paint and lacquer

Removing –melting glues and adhesives

Both options come with two nozzles, one a reflector (hooked) nozzle; the second a 3” flat or fishtail nozzle.

The heat gun reaches the set temperatures almost immediately… There is virtually no wait time. So keep your hands and fingers away from the front of the gun at all times and allow the gun to cool properly before changing or removing the attachments or putting the gun away.

BE SURE TO READ THE INSTRUCTIONS AND WARNINGS BEFORE USING THE HEAT GUN.

The DCE530 is a great addition to any toolbox or shop.

100 Foot Bluetooth® Enabled Laser Distance Measurer Features Tool ConnectTM App; DEWALT’s First 30 Foot Pocket Laser Distance Measurer with Rechargeable Battery

DEWALT has introduced three Laser Distance Measurers designed for accuracy and convenience with features that support a broad range of leveling and layout applications and job-site requirements.

Delivering 30 foot to 100 foot working ranges, the DEWALT® Laser Distance Measurer (LDM) line additions include:

DEWALT® Bluetooth® Enabled 100 Foot Laser Distance Measurer (model DW099S) connects via Bluetooth® to store measurements, mark up photos, and be able to save those on the DEWALT® Tool Connect™ app. This LDM can measure distances up to 100 feet. The 1.5 inch (measured diagonally) black, backlit high contrast LCD screen provides visibility in various lighting conditions and displays continuous measurement tracking that quickly and easily finds distance from a target as well as distance, area and volume in three measurement units (feet, inches and meters) and historical measurement for reference to the last three measurements. An over-molded grip supports a firm hold and drop protection, while a wrist strap provides carrying convenience. Other functions include calculating area and volume, as well as perform simple addition and subtraction functions.

DEWALT® 65 Foot Laser Distance Measurer (model DW065E) is a cost-effective solution that has a compact, lightweight design, a backlit high contrast LCD display for visibility in various lighting conditions and supports quick measuring for area and volume to support a variety of applications including painting and flooring estimates. The DEWALT® DW065E is accurate within 1/8” at 30 feet. The unit includes two AA batteries and a wrist strap for carrying convenience.

DEWALT® 30 Foot Pocket Laser Distance Measurer (model DW030PL) is DEWALT’s first pocket-sized LDM that features a rechargeable lithium ion battery.  Its one-button operation, users to take quick and easy measurements for furniture estimates and wall dimensions and has an accuracy of within 1/4” at 30 feet. The 2.5” L x 1.25” W x 0.75” H LCD screen displays linear measurements. An internal lithium ion battery is charged via USB charging cable (provided) and an over-molded case housing for a secure grip and drop protection as well as a wrist trap connection for carrying convenience.

Atlas Copco Announces Addition Of Bulk Pulverizers To Silent Demolition Line

Atlas Copco BP 2050 R, bulk pulverizer with hydraulic rotation option.

Atlas Copco has announced the addition of two models of bulk pulverizers, the BP 2050 and BP 3050, to their range of silent demolition tools. Key design features include a specially angled shape and wide jaw for improved access to material and a speed valve for a more rapid open and close cycle.

“The speed valve actually helps lower the overall cost of ownership,” said Keith Becker, product development specialist for Atlas Copco hydraulic attachments. “If you reduce your opening and closing time, or cycle time, you’re reducing machine hours, operator hours and fuel consumption while increasing production.”

“Another feature that cuts down your time on the job and saves money is the high, constant power that these units generate at the jaw tips, even when they’re almost closed,” added Becker. “That extra power means you can use fewer bites to demolish a structure, for example. Every bite adds up. ”

The wide jaw not only makes it easier to feed in material, it also aids in the clean separation of rebar and concrete. The large jaw dimensions enable a high production output as well. Each model comes with a replaceable tooth-plate and cutting blades on the jaw which results in less down time in the field.

Common applications for the new bulk pulverizers include secondary reduction and separation, secondary demolition of reinforced concrete structures and separation of concrete and rebar. When equipped with the optional 360-degree hydraulic rotation device (BP 2050 R and BP 3050 R) the units can be used for efficient primary demolition of ceilings and walls. The Atlas Copco bulk pulverizers are available for carriers in the 18- to 35-ton classes.
