Jeff Thress Named Full-Line Terex Roadbuilding District Manager Covering The Eastern And East Coast States

To enhance customer and distributor support, Terex Roadbuilding announces the appointment of Jeff Thress as the full-line road building equipment district manager for the Eastern and East Coast states. For the past 12 years, Thress has served as the regional sales manager for the Terex® Bid-Well line of automatic roller pavers. Thress is now the single-source contact for customers and distributors for all Terex® road building equipment lines, making it easier and more efficient to do business with Terex Roadbuilding, thanks to new simplified sales and support processes for equipment manufactured in Canton, S.D., Fort Wayne, Ind., and Oklahoma City, Okla.

Thress has equipment sales and support responsibilities for the states of Georgia, North and South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware and New Jersey. Now responsible for a smaller geographical region than with his previous assignment, Thress will be able to dedicate more time to building stronger relationships with contractors and distributors, helping them to be more successful in their jobs.

“Our district manager team is diverse and experienced with each member offering skill sets critical to the success of our customers, distributors and the Terex Roadbuilding line,” says David Rinas, director of sales and marketing for Terex Roadbuilding North America. “Thress brings 40 years of sales experience to our field sales team. He has helped customers relying on Terex Bid-Well equipment to successfully complete their projects, and we look forward to this carrying over to the entire Terex Roadbuilding line.”

Supplying the industry with a broad line of asphalt, concrete equipment and landfill equipment, Terex Roadbuilding offers exclusive designs that allow operations to complete projects more efficiently and profitably. “We will continue with the same multichannel sales strategy for Terex Roadbuilding equipment, and Jeff will work to strengthen the distribution network within his territory for asphalt mobile equipment and concrete paving and production equipment to provide local sales and service support for our customers,” adds Rinas.

At the same time, Thress will work directly with customers using Terex asphalt plant equipment, Terex Bid-Well pavers and Terex ready mix trucks. Thress can be reached at 740-503-5768 (cell) or Jeff.Thress@Terex.com.

Terex Streamlines Roadbuilding Organization; Field Sales Force To Offer Entire Array Of Roadbuilding Equipment

Terex has streamlined its North American Roadbuilding manufacturing facilities, enabling them to work more closely as a unit and offer improved equipment sales and service to its customers. Leading this effort, Don Anderson, general manager of Terex Roadbuilding, now has managerial responsibilities for all three North American road building equipment facilities located in Canton, S.D., Fort Wayne, Ind. and Oklahoma City, Okla.

“Terex continues to offer contractors a full array of both asphalt and concrete equipment solutions,” says Anderson. “We are focusing on our core road and bridge building businesses and right-sizing those businesses to meet demand, so we can better serve our customers.”

Continuing its commitment of servicing and supporting customers and dealers, Terex Roadbuilding North America has realigned its field sales force to mirror the centralized focus at the factories. Beginning in 2012, all Terex Roadbuilding district managers in North America will have sales responsibilities for the entire road building equipment offering, which includes more than 75 products from the three North American manufacturing facilities.

Leading this team is David Rinas, who now serves as director of sales and marketing for Terex Roadbuilding North America. Rinas joined Terex in 2009 as sales director for Terex® front- and rear-discharge mixer trucks in Fort Wayne and now also serves as interim site director of the Fort Wayne facility. He now has sales and support management responsibilities throughout the United States and Canada for the entire Terex Roadbuilding asphalt and concrete equipment lines.

“We maintain a diverse and experienced field sales force, with some of our district managers tallying more than 30 years of experience in providing equipment solutions to dealers and contractors,” says Rinas. “By allowing them to sell the entire product offering – no matter if it’s an automatic roller paver from our new manufacturing facility in Canton, an asphalt paver or reclaimer/stabilizer built in Oklahoma City or a mixer truck from Fort Wayne – this enables our district managers to develop a deeper relationship with our dealers and customers.”
