CONSTRUCTIVE COMMUNICATION, INC. RECEIVES CONSTRUCTION WRITERS ASSOCIATION AWARD

imagesConstructive Communication, Inc. (CCI) – a specialist in public relations and marketing communications for professional service firms and members of a variety of technical industries – has received the Construction Writers Association (CWA) T. Randolph Russell Award for the Structural Journal newsletter.

The award, presented at the annual awards reception on October 6, 2009 in Chicago, was presented for CCI’s development of the Structural Journal newsletter for Structural Preservations Systems (SPS) – the largest concrete repair company in the country.

The newsletter was developed to inform both potential and current clients of the diverse range of services offered and projects completed by the company. Mailed twice a year, the newsletter includes project profiles, an industry trends article as well as news from SPS. A location-specific Structural Journal was created for SPS’ Baltimore, Detroit, Florida, Los Angeles and New York offices.

“Through this newsletter, we are able to reach potential and current clients including general contractors, structural engineers, owners and developers to increase awareness of SPS’ capabilities and showcase concrete repair and restoration projects,” said Kimberly Kayler, President of Construction Communication, Inc. “It has proven to be a very effective means to reach their target audiences.”

The CWA award programs recognize exceptional work in the industry and strives to promote and improve construction communications. The award categories include journalism, website design and electronic communications, newsletters, photography and marketing communications.
