Dig This® Las Vegas, the nation’s first heavy equipment playground, is officially open for business. The company’s final permit was approved by the City of Las Vegas last month. Dig This Las Vegas’ is located at 3012 S. Rancho Drive, just minutes from The Strip.
Dig This brings the latest in recreational and corporate entertainment to the Las Vegas market allowing non-industry folks the once-in-a-lifetime chance to experience the adrenaline rush of playing with massive, full-size Caterpillar® hydraulic excavators and track-type tractors, also known as bulldozers.
“We are thrilled to be open,” said Ed Mumm, Dig This founder and CEO. “We have a great team at Dig This Las Vegas and we’re ready to provide our clients with an amazing experience. Judging by the response from the Las Vegas community and tourists, we are confident Dig This Las Vegas will be a huge success.”
Dig This Las Vegas will be open 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. daily with the “Big Dig” as the standard three-hour activity. After an equipment and safety orientation, participants will get behind the controls in climate-controlled, radio monitored cabs and maneuver equipment in individual work areas. Participants must be at least 14 years of age. Big Dig pricing is $400.00 per session, van shuttle service is included, and there is plenty of parking available onsite.
Additionally, Dig This Las Vegas will carry a selection of Cat®-branded apparel for men, women and kids, as well as hats, accessories, die-cast miniatures and gifts for purchase inside the office.
Dig This Las Vegas will offer corporate team building programs; special “Mega Day” events with some of the largest earth-moving machines in the Caterpillar arsenal; an Excavate and Exfoliate Spa Package; and will be available for private and special events.
