How Digitalization & Electrification Improve Efficiency in Fluid Power – New Research from IFPE

The International Fluid Power Exposition (IFPE), along with the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM), have released another research whitepaper leading up to the return of the show to the Las Vegas Convention Center, March 14-18, 2023, along with the co-located CONEXPO-CON/AGG.
Entitled “How Digitalization & Electrification Improve Efficiency in Fluid Power” the freely-downloadable whitepaper addresses the megatrends shaping the fluid power industry and advancements occurring in power transmission and motion control. This follows the previous whitepaper, “Tech Advancements Driving the Fluid Power Market Forward,” released in April.
“The fluid power industry is advancing quickly and new trends in digitalization and electrification are making an impact,” said IFPE 2023 Show Director John Rozum. “This whitepaper focuses on the importance of improving efficiency and using new technologies that will be on display at IFPE in March next year.”
Topics covered in the whitepaper include:
- How recent efficiency through digitalization can improve efficiencies of the processes,
- How IoT/AI, supply chain, R&D and safety play a role in digitalization,
- Best approaches to design systems for electrification,
- What the future holds for digitalization and electrification in the fluid power industry.
