New 6.0-6.6 Cu.Yd. Loader Features New Design and Engineering
The Kawasaki 92ZV-2, 6.0 wheel loader is designed and engineered from the ground up from the chassis to the transmission to the hydraulic systems, to the cab.
It is powerewd by a Cummins QSM11, certified Tier III emissions engine, providing 284 flywheel horsepower (FHP) and 47% torque rise. This loader provides power for digging as well as navigating challenging terrain. The hydraulics, supply more-than-adequate breakout force and lifting capacity. This allows the 92ZV-2 to dig bank material easily or lift heavy log or pipe loads.
Operators will notice the difference in performance as well as the ease of operation. With leg room to spare, great visibility, and fingertip controls, the operator can customize settings and make adjustments to take control in a variety of working conditions. Standard features such as the Adjustable Declutch, Dual Boom Kickout Control, Idle Management System, ELS (Efficient Loading System) and Dual Mode Engine Switch allows the operator to work efficiently and safely. Options such as Ride Control, and Single Lever Hydraulic Control, offer additional ease of operation and comfort.
Kawasaki loaders have long been known for their structural integrity, and the 92ZV-2 expands on this concept with a full box section frame, heavy center pins and support structures. The dual Z-Linkage and new chassis design make this a strong, well-balanced machine. Standard features such as the outboard-mounted sealed wet disc brakes, sealed universal joints, sealed Deutsch DT electrical connectors, and reversible fan are designed to provide ease of maintenance and improve durability.
The newly designed countershaft transmission is built by Kawasaki. In addition to its smooth shifting and reliability, it also features AutoBrake, which is similar to the system found on Kawasaki’s larger machines. It protects the transmission from overspeeding and or improper directional shifting. It puts the transmission in neutral and applies 50-percent brake pressure reducing travel speed until the shift selection can be made safely.
Other features include dual Z-bar linkage that delivers high breakout force and provide a design configuration that makes for great visibility. The machine also comes with dual brake circuits for added safety. Kawasaki has designed, built and equipped this machine like the larger models in their lineup.
Kawasaki’s MODM (Machine Operation Diagnostic Module) offers information to make the operation and maintenance of the wheel loader quick and efficient, providing details on operating systems, continually diagnosing the performance of the wheel loader, and monitoring fluids and filters.
