New Medical Office Building Coming To St. Catherine’s Medical Center Campus

Amidst the successful progress of the vertical expansion to St. Catherine’s Medical Center, United Hospital System has selected Riley Construction to provide full construction management services on a new $7 million medical office building at its Pleasant Prairie campus.

The Village of Pleasant Prairie Plan Commission recently voted unanimously to approve site and operational plans for the 32,000-square-foot, two-story building located just southwest of St. Catherine’s Medical Center.

It is planned for national pain care center Advanced Pain Management to lease 10,000 square feet. The building would also house United Hospital System outpatient rehabilitation services and 16,000 square feet of physician office space.

Construction will start this month and is expected be completed June 2011. The design is being led by Eppstein Uhen Architects of Milwaukee.

Riley Construction is currently leading the massive 322,000-square-foot, three-story addition to St. Catherine’s Medical Center. The $65 million project adds three new stories on top of the existing hospital, making this one of the largest and most technically challenging health care construction projects on-going in Wisconsin. Riley Construction is serving as the construction manager on the project, providing preconstruction, construction management and trades performance services.
