Portadam, one of the nation’s foremost authorities on water management, flood control and water diversion engineering today announced the appointment of Heath Davis as Oil and Gas Sales Manager.
Davis grew up in Houston and is a graduate of Texas A&M University. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Distribution Engineering and boasts a track record of growing sales and nurturing existing client relationships in industrial service settings.
During his tenure as outside sales manager for two other manufacturing companies, Davis used innovative strategies to grow their bottom line by increasing territory sales and uncovering new business opportunities.
“We are thrilled to bring Heath on board and look forward to a long and productive relationship with him,” Portadam Chief Executive Officer Bob Gatta said. “Portadam will benefit from his sales management and technical background, as well as demonstrated success in the field.”
Davis is a member of the International Association of Drilling Contractors, the Society of Petroleum Engineers and the American Petroleum Institute. His hobbies include scuba diving.
“I am excited to work for Portadam and be part of an industry that will benefit and improve above-ground water storage for hydraulic fracturing,” Davis said. “Helping my customers to overcome their challenges is what really motivates me. Oilfield is like family and I love being part of such camaraderie.”
Davis will focus on bringing Portadam into the oil and gas markets.
