SANY America Names Landmark Equipment

SANY AmericaLandmark Equipment has been named the SANY America excavator dealer for the greater Dallas-Fort Worth area, becoming SANY’s first excavator dealer in Texas.

“Texas is an important market for excavators, so we looked for a dealer partner with deep experience in heavy equipment and customer service,” said Eric Teague, vice president of earthmoving at SANY America. “Landmark has a great track record for sales, service and customer care. We look forward to a great partnership.

Founded in 1989 by Mike Lyle, Landmark Equipment has four locations in the Dallas/Fort Worth metro area: Irving, Fort Worth, McKinney and Waxahachie. The business had previously operated since 1941 as the Ben Griffin Tractor Co. Landmark Equipment sells, rents and services heavy equipment, including excavators, backhoes, skid steers and telehandlers,  along with various lines of agricultural equipment.

“We are excited to be able to introduce SANY equipment to our customers in this market,” Lyle said. “The three-year, 3,000-hour full coverage warranty is something that no one else is offering in today’s construction market.

“I took a team of salesman to the SANY facility in Peachtree City, Georgia to demo the SANY machines and see the commitment SANY has made with their state of the art facility and the number of product support people they have,” Lyle said.  “What also sold us was the quality of the machine – with name-brand quality components and a solid undercarriage – all of us felt it was a great product for our customers.”

SANY America’s excavator offerings include the 7.5-ton SY75C, the 13.5-ton SY135C, the 21.5-ton SY215C and the 23.5-ton SY235C. Additional models will be introduced in North America in the coming year. SANY excavators feature low overall owner operating costs, ease of operation, low operating noise and solid excavator performance.
