Following international positions in Asia and Europe, most recently as director of external communications, Bill Law has been assigned to Volvo CE’s North American organization as Vice President, corporate communications.
Bill Law has been appointed to the role of Vice President, Corporate Communications, at Volvo Construction Equipment’s North American organization. As part of the local executive management team, he will help drive both internal communications and press relations for the region, as well as continuing to develop corporate communication standards and practices for communications across both the sales and manufacturing businesses.
Based at the company’s Shippensburg facility in Pennsylvania, US, Bill will co-ordinate the communication of both corporate and regional information and will report to regional President Göran Lindgren.
Commenting on his appointment, which becomes effective on June 27th, Bill said: “This is an exciting time to be in North America due to the significant investments that are being made in our operations and a strongly recovering American market. I am honored to take on this position and am very much looking forward to the challenge.”
Bill’s previous Brussels-based role at external corporate communications for Volvo Construction Equipment’s Global Headquarters will be managed on a temporary basis by Clare Gittins until a permanent replacement is appointed. Clare works for Volvo CE’s public relations agency SE10, and she will assume the role on June 14th.
