Prepare for the upturn with latest technologies and strategies for utility/construction; industry professionals getting around at the show – use new ICUEE Smartphone application…
ICUEE 2009-advance registration has been extended to September 25, 2009 so more attendees can take advantage of lower pre-show entrance fees and save time onsite. Go online for details and to register – www.icuee.com.
ICUEE, the International Construction and Utility Equipment Exposition, will be held October 6-8, 2009 at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Kentucky. Exhibit registration includes admission to the co-located H20-Expo, the inaugural exposition of the National Rural Water Association (NRWA).
Registering in advance for the show’s educational programming also saves time and money. A record number of education session tickets have already been purchased, and among the “top 10” most popular topics are new opportunities in emerging “green” technologies such as solar and wind power.
For 2009, ICUEE attendees have access to a wider variety of education than ever before, with new programs/sessions from NRWA as well as Gas Technology Institute, Incident Prevention (iP), Industrial Utility Vehicle (IUV), Outside Plant (OSP) and Underground Construction Technology (UCT).
A special education feature is a “Get Smart about the Smart Grid” panel. Smart-grid systems will transform the electric power infrastructure, and the U.S. Department of Energy’s Smart Grid Task Force Director will lead the discussion with leading industry players. See the show website for full education details (http://www.icuee.com/Education/index.asp).
“Knowledge really is power in tomorrow’s business environment. The industry upturn will come; stimulus money will start to have an effect. ICUEE is only once every two years, and the 2009 show is the ideal place to conveniently check out the latest technologies up close, comparison-drive the new equipment and ‘pick the brains’ of industry experts,” stated Show Director Melissa Magestro.
ICUEE 2009 attendees will have access to a new ICUEE-specific Smartphone application to help them more efficiently spend their time at the show. The “Follow Me” phone app builds on the show’s online agenda planner, where attendees use the website’s interactive exhibitor directory and maps to organize their list of must-see companies and products. The “Follow Me” app features real time show alerts, information from exhibitors and interactive show maps. For more information go to http://www.icuee.com/FollowMe/.
