Kevin Fix Named Full-Line Terex Roadbuilding District Manager Covering The Midwest

To enhance customer and distributor support, Terex Roadbuilding announces the appointment of Kevin Fix as the full-line road building equipment district manager for the Midwest. Fix has been selling Terex® Front- and Rear-Discharge mixers for the past two years, and prior to this, he spent 16 years working for a heavy equipment distributor. Fix is now the single-source contact for customers and distributors for all Terex road building equipment lines, making it easier and more efficient to do business with Terex Roadbuilding, thanks to new simplified sales and support processes for equipment manufactured in Canton, S.D., Fort Wayne, Ind., and Oklahoma City, Okla.

Fix has equipment sales and support responsibilities for the states of Missouri, Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee. Now responsible for a smaller geographical region than with his previous assignment, he will be able to dedicate more time to building stronger relationships with contractors, producers and distributors, helping them to be more successful in their jobs.

“Our district manager team is diverse and experienced with each member offering skill sets critical to the success of our customers, distributors and the Terex Roadbuilding line,” says David Rinas, director of sales and marketing for Terex Roadbuilding North America. “Working directly for a distributor, he has firsthand experience of what it takes to make both distributors and customers successful.” Fix adds, “I look forward to continuing business relationships with our distributors and building relationships with asphalt and concrete producers and contractors.”

Supplying the industry with a broad line of asphalt, concrete and landfill equipment, Terex Roadbuilding offers exclusive designs that allow operations to complete projects more efficiently and profitably. “We will continue with the same multichannel sales strategy for Terex Roadbuilding equipment, and Kevin will work to strengthen the distribution network within his territory for asphalt mobile equipment and concrete paving and production equipment to provide local sales and service support for our customers,” adds Rinas.

At the same time, Fix will work directly with customers using Terex asphalt plant equipment, Terex Bid-Well pavers and Terex ready mix trucks. He can be reached at 260-580-7733 (cell) or Kevin.Fix@Terex.com.
